Why it matters
Know exactly what your soil needs.
Understanding your soil is the foundation of everything that grows in it. Without the data you are guessing, and guessing either costs money or starves the plants.
Nutrient levels. Nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium and the trace elements.
pH. Decides whether your plants can access the nutrients that are already there.
Organic matter. Drives water retention and how much nutrition stays available.
Billions of microorganisms. Bacteria, fungi and protozoa break down organic matter and fix nitrogen.
Healthy biology. Supports nutrient cycling and a more resilient soil.
Poor biology. You will be fighting uphill no matter what you add on top.
Without this data you are guessing, and guessing either costs money or starves the plants.

Taking the sample
Four steps, done in an afternoon.
A spade, a Ziploc bag per field and a pen. That is the whole kit.

Take the soil sample
Walk the field in a Z shape and take a sample at each point along it. At least five points per hectare, all mixed into one bag per field.
Sample from 15 cm beneath the surface. Scrape off surface mulch or grass first.
You need a total of 500 g of soil per sample.

Send the soil sample
WhatsApp RegenZ on +27 60 319 8990 when your sample is ready.
Send your farm location as a GPS pin, your nearest Courier Guy kiosk or Pudo locker, and a photo of the labelled bags.
You will receive an invoice from RegenZ for the sample cost.
Once paid, you get a waybill. Drop the sample at your nearest Courier Guy or Pudo point.
